Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 400g thin beef sausage
- 700ml passata
- 350g penne
- Dash of red wine
Instructions
- Dice the onion and peel and crush the garlic to fry in some olive oil for 5 minutes.
- Add the sausage and cook until brown.
- Pour in the red wine and allow the alcohol to evaporate off, before adding the passata.
- Boil the pasta water and cook the pasta as per the required time, remembering to salt the water
once the pasta is in.

Combine the pasta and sauce together and serve.
