Oat cookies

Pair this with coffee and never look back.

Ingredients

  • 170g oats
  • 170g flour
  • 110g sugar
  • 85g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients together into a paste, easiest to do by hand. Don't be shy.
  2. Roll out into a 1cm thick layer, and cut into cookie shapes.
  3. Bake at 180C; for about 15 minutes, watching them closely.

Makes about 25-30 cookies.
